Addiction Treatment Watch

Often, a person has their own reservations about helping someone. A person can be reluctant to assert themselves because of uncertainty about saying the right thing or doing the right thing. In truth, there a million reasons to postpone helping someone indefinitely until “the time is right” etc.
The obvious problem with this mode of thinking is that people die. Sure mistakes in advice can wind up causing problems and even relapse, but most certainly, not helping someone and not offering advice or care to a person who is desperately trying to figure out how to get and stay clean can be more detrimental.
I’m not trying to preach here but I do want to open the forum up to any discussion that is geared toward helping those who might benefit from someone’s hard won experience. I hope you agree.
