Meth Addiction

Meth AddictionMeth addiction has become a scourge across the entire United States. Sure enough there are communities in the U.S. Without a prominent meth addiction problem, but they are few and far between.

Methamphetamine is cheaply made from common household chemicals and with laboratory experience required. There is far too easy access to recipes for “cooking” or making meth and many people who make the drug will also teach 5, 10 or more people how to make it as well.

With all this the meth problem has exploded across the United States with a vengeance. Meth addiction is very strong and is comparable to heroin addiction, cocaine addiction and other crippling addictions. A person can become addicted to meth the first time they use the drug and once a person is addicted they will do many things they would never do prior to using. These then become sources of guilt, shame and resentment latter when the individual sobers up.

Meth addiction carries with it cravings that will continue to haunt the person addicted for years after they cease using. There are bio-physical reasons that this occurs and these overwhelming cravings must be handled thuroughly or relapse will likely occur.
