Alcohol Addiction Treatment

Should Mel Gibson enter an alcohol addiction treatment center?

I’m not sure really what’s going on with Mel Gibson but it looks like he could use the help of a good Alcohol Addiction Treatment Center. You have to consider these things when someone acts as he has, and you have to keep in mind, even if alcohol is to blame, it’s still only a symptom of some underlying problem. This problem has now become an addiction to alcohol and who knows maybe other drugs.

I haven’t heard if Mel is considering entering into an alcohol Addiction Treatment program or not but it certainly couldn’t hurt, well maybe not. I have seen people enter some alcohol addiction treatment centers only to come out with several prescriptions of other highly addictive drugs like xanax and klonopin which are benzodiazepines. Even at that since these drugs also cause depression then an anti depressant is likely to be prescribed as well.

If Mel were to seek help and enter an alcohol Abuse Treatment center all we can hope is he would choose a Rehab program with a more holistic natural approach that would give ample time to handle his underlying demons. When it comes to guy as high powered as Mel Gibson it would really take a lot to uncover the things he has hidden. Like him or not he is a very capable individual and may be exhibiting signs of boredom believe or not.

I have seen this time and time again where the most able bodied people end up with an addiction to drugs or alcohol and enter Drug Addiction Treatment center out of lack of a game to play. They may have felt they were at the high point of their career and there was nothing left. Its like playing a video game and once you make it to the top level, you have to get a new game. Well maybe these Mel needs a new game to play.

You have to admit Mel Gibson was at the top of his game, and fallen, as have many talented people in the past. Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Heath Ledger, Marilyn Monroe and the list goes on. Some, like Britney Spears and others have managed to get going again, but for the most part these powerful energetic people fall from grace never to return.

Just because someone enters an alcohol addiction treatment program doesn’t mean there problems, the demons that are the most vicious are the inner demons. Many Drug and Alcohol addicts try to drown those to demons in booze and pills, only its like feeding a monster, they keep bigger and bigger until one day they explode. Same philosophy with anti-anxiety and anti-depressant pills, these pills may appear to sooth the savage beast, but actually cause more problems like suicide etc.

Additionally, those underlying demons are still there, continually being fed. Well let’s hope Mel is able to get help, he sure makes good movies and I’ve enjoyed watching them. I could watch brave heart and Mad Max continually, but that’s just me. Here’s to finding a good lengthy drug free alcohol addiction treatment center.
