What Is Addiction

Posted by addiction writer in Untagged

Addiction understandingAddiction is the miserable nightmarish state of compulsively using a substance, legal or illegal, regardless of logic, associated lifestyle problems and/or consequences relating to that substances use. Addiction knows no social boundaries be it race, religion, culture, economic, locational or age.

There is no sector or division of the population that is not affected by addiction.

The torturous and relentlessly spiritually mutilating condition of addiction rips families apart, leads perfectly capable individuals to a life of servitude and incapacitation.

Addiction has the finest promoters available anywhere built into the sale and distribution of the substances of abuse regardless of whether that substance is an illegal drug smuggled in by trafficking organizations or if it is prescribed by the family physician.

The profit behind drug and alcohol sales is so outrageous that the best and most successful marketers are constantly employed to ensure new and continued recruitment of up and coming addicts.

The information about addiction sought to ease the tortured mind of a parent trying to save their child is ravaged with false hopes, deceptive lies and twisted information designed to pull the person deeper into an addiction or sway them to a more controllable, legal addiction instead.

In short, addiction is a self propagating plague that will be the demise of our culture unless the path we are currently traveling is halted in lieu of a more truthful and results based approach to handling this problem is identified and implemented.

If this seems overly dramatic just ask any mother who is desperately trying to save her son from certain death due to their drug use and you will find that in fact this description is actually very light.

It is our goal to help those who need it find real solutions and truthful information about the plague that has invaded their family and their lives.
