Brooke Mueller to enter extreme drug rehab
Brook Mueller has been battling her addiction demons for years now and continues to grab headlines in her struggle. To bad she really doesn’t seem to want to truly confront what’s really going on in her life causing the addiction problem. Her medical advice she is getting is terrible and we are liable to be watching another Brittany Murphy, Health Ledger, Anna Nicole Smith or Michael Jackson ( just to name a few) incident.
You would think Brooke Mueller would be smarter than that but when you have quacks guiding your mental health and addiction treatment its no wonder. Let’s see how she does but I bet you a dollar this is not the end of her addiction problems. To start with, she has a prescription for marijuana to handle her “anxiety” which is caused by the drug. Anyone who has ever smoked marijuana has felt paranoia, paranoia that caused from nutritional deficiencies which are caused by smoking marijuana.Additionally more effective drug rehabs do not employ alternative drugs as therapy.
The THC in marijuana is considered a toxin by the body and in the effort of the body to absorb burns up vitamins needed for other bodily functions like keeping dopamine and serotonin at normal levels. Continuously hitting the pipe to get that desired feeling is a never ending dwindling spiral. Smoking weed and now enlisting in the ridiculous hope that a hallucinogen is going to alleviate drug cravings is kicking her dwindling spiral into high gear.
Brooke Mueller and Drug Rehab
Entering an extreme drug rehab that uses hallucinogenics to “rewire” the brain is nothing short of a ridiculous experiment at the expense of Brook’s sanity and her children’s lives. The body is not designed to handle toxic chemicals and as long as those who know nothing about how it functions continue to inundate it with poisons there is really little hope of ever getting to the bottom of the underlying problems.
Overcoming addiction and handling life’s problems can be done, but it takes hard work in a systematic series of therapy that brings to the person back to a former condition prior substance abuse. Adding more fuel to the already polluted fire is never going to be the answer. The effect that this mind altering drug ibogaine has are hallucinations and anxiety, of which she is reportedly “treating” with her marijuana prescription. If she wanted to head south for treatment there are some successful drug rehabs in Texas and other areas of the country she could consider.
Ibogaine is a psychoactive chemical compound that is found naturally in the root bark of the West African iboga shrub. The drug is used by members of certain African tribes and religions during healing and rite-of-passage ceremonies. An article on abc.com states ” For those who take Ibogaine, they “may have visual hallucinations where they will feel they’re transported beyond three-dimensional time and space,” said Ross. “They may feel interconnected to a higher form of energy, their consciousness is part of a greater consciousness, and have a sense of sacredness, awe and reverence.”That might sound pretty good to some people, but without proper supervision from a clinician or sitter, a person can experience frightening trips that include extreme paranoia and anxiety'”
